LUFKIN, TX , March 25, 2016 (Newswire.com) - With construction well underway, the fourth Texas-based Altus Emergency Center, led by Chairman & CEO Taseer Badar of ZT Wealth, is just months away from opening its doors.
Earlier this month, crews erected steel beams and began pouring the concrete driveway to the Lufkin emergency center, located at off Highway 59 at 501 N. Brentwood Drive. Announced last May, the new state-of-the-art facility follows successful Altus Emergency Centers in Baytown, Lake Jackson and Lumberton. A fifth location in Waxahachie was announced earlier this year with an anticipated Winter opening.
The Lufkin facility will be approximately 9,500 square feet and provide a full range of emergency care, including X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds and a full-service diagnostic lab – staffed with approximately 20 full-time, Lufkin-area employees.
Expecting to be fully operational by summer, a Grand Opening will be announced as construction nears an end.
